The work is carried out here is predominantly assembly and light packing.

The workshop has expanded with the recent development of additional business which requires a higher skill level and the use of machinery and tools. The work is varied and at times, challenging. Having real customer deadlines to meet provides a sense of purpose and satisfaction when the job is completed. Service users work at their own pace in a structured but supported environment.

The personal safety and well being of each service user is assured. Rigorous Health and Safety procedures are adhered to, including regular fire drills and fire alarm testing.

Service users are supported by skills support staff whose role is to motivate and encourage users to develop their skill levels and work ethos. Service users’ ability to apply their skills is routinely monitored and evaluated.
