Two employment support workers are available to offer a full employment support service. One is based at the Digbeth site and the other at the Saltley site.

They work on a one-to-one basis with any service user who approaches them for assistance. If they are assessed as not being quite job ready, the employment support worker will devise an individual package of support that may include writing an up-to-date CV, interview skills, further training or work experience, voluntary work as a stepping stone towards being job ready and any other support assessed as being required.

When they are job ready, the employment support worker will help with job searching, completing an application form, interview skills and even accompanying someone to an interview.

For the past five years BITA Pathways has been a sub-contractor to Birmingham City Council to deliver the New Deal for Disabled people programme and we have a successful record of getting people back into employment.
