Garden Pathways

Our Garden Pathways Project is designed to be both therapeutic and educational.

We have recently won a three year grant from the Big Lottery Fund which will enable the project to continue and expand.

The project takes various forms:

We have three allotments across the city where we grow a wide variety of seasonal produce from seed and then produce our own range of seasonal pickles and chutneys for sale at craft & produce fairs and through our own web store.

As part of the recent transfer of the Learning & Work Service of Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust to BITA Pathways, we are also now responsible for the Park Lane Garden Centre in Aston, Birmingham. This commercial garden centre also offers a range of training courses in horticulture and retail.

Another key element is health and well-being. We run regular walking groups and client nutrition workshops as part of the regular programme of activities.

Finally, we are developing our own garden and grounds maintenance services business aimed at commercial and domestic customers in the city. This has started well and our client base is growing fast thanks to word of mouth!

If you would like more information on the services we can offer please contact us.
