Warwick Training Centre was opened in 1992 following a grant from Birmingham City Council. The Training Centre offers a wide range of pre-vocational and vocational training programmes, all of which carry an accredited qualification and progression routes. Vocational courses include catering, IT, customer service, administration and horticulture.
Warwick Training is a centre currently franchised with South Birmingham College. It offers training to adults experiencing mental ill health. There is a wide range of accredited courses available. The classes are a small group size, typically 6 – 8 students and are run in a relaxed and supportive learning environment by qualified tutors, who have all had mental health awareness training.
The courses are free to those in receipt of a means tested benefit. You can self refer or be referred via a health professional.
