There are a number of opportunities to gain work experience at BITA Pathways.

Our newly opened craft centre offers a wide range of craft workshops including wood craft, pottery, candle craft, floral art and picture framing. The craft centre provides another choice for service users to engage in work experience producing finished items for sale.

A service user-led coffee shop at a nearby hospital is an opportunity to gain experience in a real working environment in either customer service, food preparation or driving a company vehicle for collection and deliveries.

Catering experience can be gained by placements in the busy canteen at the Digbeth premises.

Customer service experience can be gained in the busy retail shop at the Digbeth premises.

Textiles by St Anne’s provides work experience in all aspects of this soft furnishings business. Primarily training will be given in the production of curtains and blinds but other work is available to support the business on the administrative and marketing functions.
